How Much Does Roofing Software Cost?
What roofing software costs in 2026
Roofing software ranges from free entry plans to $349 per month or more, and some of the biggest names will not show you a price until you talk to a sales team. Because pricing rarely lines up feature-for-feature, comparing raw monthly numbers alone misses the real cost drivers.
This guide covers published list prices only — the numbers a roofing business can actually see without requesting a quote — explains what moves the total, and gives a repeatable comparison method.
Published prices for popular roofing software
Prices are in USD, monthly, as published on each vendor's public pricing page (reviewed September 2026). They change, so verify on the vendor site before you decide.
RoofHQ — $149 to $249, flat
- Silver: $149/month (or $119/month billed yearly) — 100 preliminary satellite estimates per month, branded good-better-best proposals, e-signatures, payment links, job management, and material takeoffs.
- Gold: $249/month (or $199/month billed yearly) — Silver plus automated review follow-up and 500 preliminary estimates per month.
- Both plans start with a 7-day free trial without a credit card. RoofHQ prices are flat, so a 3-person crew pays the same as a solo roofer. Preliminary takeoffs are included in the plan rather than billed per report.
Roofr — $0 to $349 plus per-report charges
- Starter: $0/month — includes basic CRM features.
- Essentials: $249/month and Scale: $349/month for the paid CRM tiers.
- Roof measurement reports are billed separately: $19 each on Starter, $13 each on paid plans. DIY drawing tools are also available.
- Roofr's online estimate tool and other add-ons can be listed as optional extras on top of the base plan.
Jobber — $49 to $499, per user
- Core: $49/month, Connect: $139/month, Grow: $199/month, Plus: $499/month — all for one included user.
- Each additional user is $29/month, so cost scales with headcount (e.g., 5 users on Core is $49 + 4×$29 = $165/month).
- Jobber serves many trades, not just roofing.
RoofSnap — per report or per user
- $13 per ordered measurement report, or about $105/month per user for a subscription plan with order discounts.
- RoofSnap is a measurement and estimating platform; your total depends on how many reports you order and how many users you seat.
Not published: JobNimbus, AccuLynx, ServiceTitan
JobNimbus, AccuLynx, and ServiceTitan route pricing through a sales-quote model. JobNimbus's pricing FAQ says there are no required setup or onboarding fees, but the monthly price depends on your plan, user count, and add-ons. AccuLynx and ServiceTitan tailor quotes per business. With these tools, the price you read about elsewhere is only a starting point until a written quote exists.
Why the headline price isn't the real cost
Four things change the true monthly cost more than the sticker price:
1. Per-report pricing
A tool with a cheap plan can get expensive fast. Roofr's paid reports at $13 each on a $249 plan mean 25 pricing jobs cost $325 in reports on top of the plan ($574 total). A tool that includes takeoffs in the plan has a flat, predictable bill no matter how many jobs you price.
2. Per-user pricing
Jobber's $49/month Core plan is per user. A 4-user crew pays $49 + 3×$29 = $136/month for the entry plan. Flat-priced tools don't grow with your headcount.
3. What's included vs. what's an add-on
Estimate forms, detailed reports, review follow-up, and integrations are add-ons on some tools but included on others. Add the cost of every feature you actually need before comparing.
4. Hidden pricing
Tools that won't publish a price often use tiered or volume-based pricing and negotiate in a demo. That's not inherently bad — but it makes the real number unknowable until you take a sales call.
How to compare honestly
- Write your monthly volume. How many jobs do you price per month? How many users?
- List the features you genuinely need — takeoffs, proposals, signatures, deposits, review follow-up.
- Price two scenarios for each tool: your current volume and a 2× growth scenario.
- Watch the growth curves. Per-report and per-user pricing compound differently than a flat plan.

The bottom line
Roofing software costs somewhere between free and several hundred dollars per month, and per-report and per-user add-ons can double the bill at the volume you actually price. The tools that publish flat prices — RoofHQ at $149/$249 — let you know the cost before a sales call. The tools that don't publish pricing may still be worth a call if their workflow depth justifies it; just make sure the written quote includes every add-on you need.
